Buffy listened to Danny carefully, her face impassive. When he finished she moved over behind him and wrapped her arms around him. She pressed a kiss to his spine then laid her cheek against his back.

"We're fallible and human, Danny. We've all got that in our blood. Blood doesn't make us who we are, Baby. How we overcome it makes us who we are. What we do with what we have, makes us who we are. Just because someone says 'this is what you are' doesn't mean you have to listen to them. You're a good guy and because you've overcome that, I think it makes you an amazing guy."
