[There's a very up close shot of Buffy's face. It pulls out to show a punching bag that's been broken off it's chain. The target on the wall has a cluster of throwing knives at the bulls eye. The training dummy is more splinters than training dummy. Someone has been venting rage and pain. She's never killed a human before. She's killed vampires, demons, witches and things she can't name but never anyone entirely human. It's about the advantage she has over people--the whole using her power for good not evil thing.]

I quit.

[And she turns the camera off]

I do believe everything I said. That doesn't change that I feel like a giant lame-o saying it. The situation isn't the same here, Dawn. Nothing is the same here. The rules don't apply and it's all this game for the deities to judge. I'm tired of it. I'm opting out of the game. I won't kill pe-things for thing. [She bites her lips, tucking them between her teeth to stop more words from coming out]

So you're opting out of being the Slayer and she who saves us all a lot because some deities controlled you into doing something that you wouldn't have normally done and didn't at all want to do. That's the gist of this whole thing, right? Kind of like when Xander was forced into hyena-ness and said all those mean things or when you were forced into thinking we were all figments of your imagination and almost killed us all in the basement or -- I don't know, the list could go on. And that's the whole point. It goes on and we go on too.

[Yep, still feeling like the older, stronger sister here. And really, it doesn't feel so bad! Of course after awhile it could get old but for now, she can handle it.]

Score one for the Summers girls then cause I'm apparently clueless and you're a quitter. Go us.

[And with that, she turns to stomp away in a way that only a little sister can with a big sister. Down the hallway is the sound of her door slamming shut.]
