She takes the rose with her free hand, moves the scythe to the side and steps forward, the hand holding the rose going to John's shoulder. She bows her head, bringing them that much closer.
The crowd falls quiet, waiting for the next installment of the show. It's the silence that makes her notice them. She looks back up at him, mischief in her smile and her eyes.]
