With pleasure. Bee was a hard sell for me because I write Inara also and Inara was like who is this girl that slaughters the English language, has the life expectancy of Mal and has at least one spastic fit a day who happens to LOOK like me? How dare she. However, Bee intrigued me the mun enough to tell Inara to shut up (and that takes guts I'm telling you because Mal comes from his mun's head to mine and threatens to shoot me) Anyway, I started reading Bee and I fell in love with her. She's bright and bouncy and fun You've got some angst and depth and layers to her but she doesn't get mired in it. She moves on. She's got backbone, gumption and she's not a victim. She also could fit so perfectly into Btvs canon that it makes me wish she was there. And I realize that's a whole story about why I love Bee instead of two reasons but still.

Oh! And Buffy just goes *kindred spirit* with Bee. She attached to her immediately because she's her age, she's a new slayer but she's not a 16 year old girl looking at her like she's the next messiah. She's a *friend* who *gets* it, which let's be honest, Buffy has never had before Bee. She adores Bee. So much. Which is WHY we friended Bee.
