Sixth Slay [Accidental Video] Run that Girl Over

[The video camara flickers on. At first it's just a waist level shot. There's a slayer clad in jeans tucked into a pair of camel colored knee high boots. After a moment the camera angle changes as Buffy sets the camera off to the side. She's rocking the flow-ey, wavey, movie star hair. She's standing at the outer barrier of the clock looking up at it and there's someone beside her. A little study shows that it's

a_bad_guy. Buffy tilts her head and tosses the scythe up lightly in the air then catches it.]

So there's Plan A or Plan B. Plan A is---really there's just plan B. We hit it really hard until it breaks.

[ooc:Action is locked to Eliot. Buffy set her device down behind her and didn't realize it was on so the entire interaction with Eliot and the clock will be broadcast. All replies will come from post-trying-to-kill-the-clock. This has been run by mods]

Eliot isn't sure where the hell this blonde chick came from. All he knows is that they met, she hit him, they were cuffed, now they weren't and now he found out that she was into hitting things... really hard. Yeah, this was his kind of chick. He didn't even know her name yet and he already really liked her style. In his hand he carries a crowbar. Where did he get the crowbar? We'll just say he picked it up... somewhere without being noticed. ~~Possibly Anthony's garage~~.

He studies the clock for a long moment, the object of the insanity of probably half the population here. Yeah, it looks breakable. He tosses the crowbar from hand to hand and nods. "I like plan B." And he punctuates that by giving the tick-tocking object a hell of a wack with the crowbar.

Yeah finding out her handcuff partner's name would probably be a good thing. They've got the whole on the same wave length thing going and she's got to admit she's sort of leary of names ruining that. In any case, she likes him. They seem to get each other.

"Plan B it is!"

And Buffy strikes hard with the scythe. She doesn't really appear to be making much of a dent but hey that just means she should hit it harder.

Neither of them seem to be making a dent... which is odd for Eliot. He's used to breaking things; glass, cars, noses. And he knows from experience how hard Rocky can hit. Of course his name in his mind for her is Rocky only because he isn't up on any of the current stuff and Rocky could kick ass in the ring. So Rocky it is. And if Rocky isn't making a dent either, it must be a surprise to her too.

"It's not budging! Maybe we should go... acquire some dynamite." And of course by acquire he knows he means steal. But nevertheless, he keeps pounding away, waiting for the thing to crack even the tiniest bit.

Yeah. Buffy's used to the scythe slicing through everything like butter and even without the scythe...she came by the name destruco-girl honestly.

"We could try dynamite. I've only blown a couple of things up though and I had nothing to do with the setting or the s'plody parts. It was more of a--well--you know something more about it?"

"Yeah I know a few things about explosives." Destructo girl, meet destructo guy... only, you know, minus the super crazy strength.Eliot isn't ready to give up so easily. And yeah, he kind of wants to blow the thing up if just cause it annoys him and it would be cool. But also, he thinks of something else. "You know there has to be some kind of clockworks we can get too. Somethin' we can jam up."

"We'll have to keep cracking at the outer barrier then. We could use the explosion to jam it up."

See the scythe getting discarded. At this point she's more afraid she's going to hurt it than she is worried about hurting herself. She heals. Really fast. She's not sure there would be a way to fix the scythe if it broke. Besides she's thinking something in the genre of roundhouse kick might help this whole situation.

Eliot didn't get it. The sharp of the crow bar should have broken this thing. Instead he was just wearing himself out. So he decided to pause for a second to reflect on this whole situation... and also to catch his breath. "Uh... so you think this things is protected by the bastards in charge or what? Cause nothin's that unbreakable."

Buffy is actually out of breath. She pauses with her hands on both knees and eyes the barrier. "It's got to be. No question. Everything breaks. You just have to apply enough force."

And then she's back to hitting it hard.
