[Buffy is sitting glumly at the kitchen table. She has several glasses with solid ice in them sitting in front of her. She is currently working on simply frosting another glass]

Seriously? I traded slayer me for a teenage super heroes powers? Oh yay. Now if the world ends I can make...ice cubes. I'll be pleasantly cool and refreshed?

Curse. Right? This is a curse and midnight I'll be more slayer me and less...Icewoman?

[And her voice drops to a mutter]

I can't even -make- ice from nothing. I have to have water first

Anyone in serious need of an ice rink?

Slayer powers certainly sound more useful than that. Whatever they are.

[he views...and he takes a minute to wander to the kitchen and stick his head in, perplexed--said head happens to have a small cloud hanging over it, innocently white]

[Buffy looks to Tarrant and smiles a bit wanely]

It's...something. [Then she points to Tarrant's cloud] Looks like you've got something going on there too.

[Eliot shrugs and looks over at something off camera. He checks his watch and makes a note in a little book.]

[he glances upwards at the offending cloud and gives something of the same smile]

It's very temperamental, at that--seems to change mood whenever I do. [he steps in to look down at the glasses, and her sulkiness]...how about a nice cup of tea.

Nothing to do with dreams, by any chance?

That's...certainly different.

[For a brief moment he looks directly into the video again, always surprised when someone wants to speak, see, hang, do anything with him more than once. It catches him off guard for just that moment, his hardened features softening around the edges just a bit before he has that stiff, determined edge to him again and is looking off camera.]
