15th Slay [Action] But you're so busy changing the world

[There's a golden haired angel running around Hell. She's got wings, the flaming sword and doesn't see the need for armor. She thrusts the sword through the heart of a demon then turns to slice the head off another. She'll ferry lost souls toward rescuers and smite demons in her path or partner up with another angel. She's in the upper circles so feel free to run into her]

[He's in the middle of a fight himself, two demons he's fending off pretty well. It's the third one that's a little tricky. He can outfight most anyone in any hand-to-hand combat technique. And yeah, the sword has been discarded in lieu of hand-to-hand. But demons aren't humans. They have a leg up on him in a few ways.

That annoying third demon gets him in a choke hold which Eliot uses as leverage to kick his legs up so that his feet land square in the chest of one of the other demons. And that's when he sees her.]

Rocky? [The name is choked out and he bends over quick to bring the demon behind him over his back and onto the ground.]

[Buffy brings her sword down through the heart of the demon then smiles at Eliot and shrugs a bit] That would be me. Hi.

Hey, thanks for that.

[He's surprised to see her here, looking like herself and yet a bit different. Ethereal, even. In fact as if she could be even more beautiful, this was probably that. He's thankful that she takes care of that one demon and immediately turns his attention to the other two.

The second demon, he kicks and punches around a bit if only cause it kind of felt good to be fighting something, which was probably the wrong way to look at this whole thing but he's Eliot. And finally he kicks that flaming sword up with the toe of his boot. Catching the handle he impales the one demon, effectively killing it off and then turning to the last one.

Clearly, he's enjoying himself.]

Fun aren't they. [She nods a bit toward her flaming sword that Eliot's now got. She folds her wings back]

You seem to be all dealy here though.

[He just misses the swipe of one demonic whip and dips down low. Twirling the hilt of the sword in his hand, the blade expertly swipes around singing through the air as it neatly slices through the demon's neck. It was a clean cut and the beast fell lifeless to the ground.

Eliot turns to her, grinning an amused, cocky grin with a nod.]

If dealy means I got this then yeah, I got this.

[He nods in her direction, making no bones about looking her up and down. Was it bad to think an angel was hot? Probably so. He should have gone to hell, probably. He tosses her her sword back.]

You look like you got this too.

[She catches the sword and grins at him]

I'm doing alright down here. Also kind of liking the prom queen dress in battle thing. I might have to try it uncursed. [She flaps her wings one before folding them again] Still not so sure about the wings though. They take some getting used to.

[She'd really rather he not go to Hell. Stabbing her boyfriends is so 1998.]

The wings are sexy. The dress is hot. I'm diggin' the whole angel you package, actually.

[Yep, going to hell.]

[She ducks her head and grins a bit]

Then you're going to like my Halloween costume?

[At least she can come get him?]

[That gets a rare smile out of him.]

Dressin' up as an angel for halloween?

Angel of Death. I figured it fit with the whole...there was thing a few years ago with the First Slayer and she and I had this whole...anyway. Death is my gift apparently. Mine. Theirs. Someone's. So yes. Angel for Halloween.

Death is your gift? That kinda makes no sense at all. Won't complain about the angel costume though.

I don't know. It's a slayer thing. I disagree or agree depending on the day. I have a thing about Halloween costumes though. The character I dress up as has to be able to defend herself. It limits a surprising amount of costumes.

[She turns and beheads a demon then turns back to Eliot to continue their conversation]

What are you going as?

I dunno. Don't usually go all out for Halloween. You goin' to some kind of party or somethin'?

The City is hosting one in Xanadu. At home Halloween is supposed to be this 'safe' day where all the vampires and things lie low while the humans party hardy. [She makes a face at herself] We can forget I said that.

Except for the going part. You could go with me.

Oh... well... I don't have to dress up, right?

[Buffy thinks about this a moment]

No. But considering my Halloweens'...you should probably bring weapons. I always do.

[And more contemplation]

And a taser. In case I turn evil or crazy or--and be prepared to white knight. In case an Angel of Death is helpless.

I almost always have a knife on me. Otherwise I'm set to take on most things.

[His nose wrinkles a bit and he shakes his head.]

Tasers remind me too much of guns. High probability of error. Hate guns.

Agreed. Guns are bad. I've never really used tasers but I figured hey what better way to bring down a crazy or evil slayer than a taser?

[Oh well the likelihood of her, Spike and Faith going crazy evil is...small...right?]

[Probably not small at all now that she thought that. If anything happens it's all her fault.]

You really think that's gonna happen?

I think if it can happen to me, it will. One year I dressed as a Princess and I turned into a Princess. Spike was evil and nearly killed me before the spell broke and I kicked his ass. Two years I went to a haunted house that turned out to be really haunted. Another Halloween, Dracula showed up. In theory, Halloween is fun. You get to come as you aren't.

I'm optimistic. I still have hope for a good one.

That all sounds... pretty much like everything else you've told me about your life.

[Which isn't bad. He's just learning to accept it all and not be shocked by it.]

Hey, maybe this is your year.

All the more reason for you to come with me to the party.

[It's really for the best]

Dressed as me?

I'm still a fan of come as you aren't but I like you dressed as you so it works for me if you don't want to dress up.

Well I could... I don't know what I'd dress up as.

[And there's a grin because he's agreeing to do the Halloween thing]

Security guard, super hero, rock star. Something else good and able to take care of himself.

How about I just put on a suit and go as... somethin' in a suit?

I'm liking this suit idea. I've never dated a guy in a suit. Okay there was Principal Wood but that was just weird because he was Principal Wood and then Faith--anyway. Suit approval here.

Yeah, I usually only wear then when a job calls for it.

The job definitely calls for it this time. You can pick me up an hour before sunset Halloween night. And prepare to be impressed.

[Lo, it is her best friend who decapitates a nearby demon who had it in for her wings. Oh. Hey there.]

Funny seeing you here!

[Ducking. Mission successful. Wings saved]

Thanks. Hey at least we're still same sidey.

Right? And the wings? Pretty cool, eh? [He grins.] Hell hasn't really changed.

There's a huge lack of vampires.

I'm not hating the whole angel thing.
