History (Canon):
Destiny slapped Buffy Summers in the back of the head when she was sixteen. She became the Vampire Slayer, one girl in every generation, one girl with the power to stop the forces of evil. After burning down the school gym (What! It was full of vampires!) she and her mother moved to Sunnydale, California. The slayer gig just kicked into high gear there while Buffy juggled her destiny, high school, friends and a social life. After saving the world multiple times, blowing up the high school, dying twice, discovering a sister, burying her mother and helping to make a slayer army, Buffy reached the highlight of her career. She cratered the town of Sunnydale, with Spike’s help and now she thinks she deserves a break.
