Saturday Night Fever [Rp for stillacrime]

The song ended and Buffy reached back, gathering her hair up in one hand and pulling it away from her neck. She leaned forward on the balls of her feet, her other hand going to Danny's shoulder. "Let's go get a drink."

Danny had come home from work and suggested they go out dancing. She'd changed into a pair of black satin short shorts, to die for black heeled sandals and a silver gray sleeveless top. They'd had dinner and ended up here, had a few drinks and danced for several songs in a row. Now she was hot and wanted a beer.

She was very hot, yes. Danny couldn't agree more. Himself, however? He wore his normal baggy jeans and a gray t-shirt. He was at a nice buzz as they had both done a few shots and had some drinks. After dancing through the fourth song he was ready for a break too.

He linked his fingers with hers and led her off of the dance floor with their hands joined behind him at the small of his back. What better way to cure being overheated than more alcohol? At the bar, he stood behind her and wrapped both arms around her to hold her back against him. There was a crowded line and the tenders were working overtime, but he didn't mind waiting.

Buffy leaned back against Danny, her head resting on his shoulder, her weight on her heels. She tilted her head up and brushed a kiss across his jaw. "You have good ideas, Boyfriend." They moved closer to the bar and Buffy leaned forward to order. She glanced over her shoulder at Danny and smiled at him then back to the bartender. "Two shots of tequila with lemons." The bartender nodded and grabbed the shot glasses. Buffy leaned back and reached into Danny's front jeans pocket for some money, grinning at him as she did.

Lashes closed halfway and open again, lips twitching into a slight grin as she reached for the cash he had stopped off at the ATM for. The tease was so mean, and yet he loved it and wouldn't have it any other way.

He leaned forward to talk with his lips at her ear so that she could hear him above the loud music. "Hey, get some beers to chase those with." He nodded towards the shot glasses that the bartender was filling with tequila.

"Couple of beers too," Buffy requested. She paid the bartender and picked up the shots. She handed one to Danny then arched an eyebrow to him. "Okay your turn to make up a toast, Boyfriend. I'll do the next one."

She reached behind her and snagged the necks of the beers in her free hand, moving closer to Danny and sort of out of the way.

Danny stepped back out of the way with her, holding his shot and dragging the small bowl with two limes in it with him. "Alright alright..." He looked up as if in deep thought pursing his lips together. Finally he nodded. "Okay I got it, I got it."

He lifted his shot glass. "Here's to that outfit you're wearin' cause every time I think you can't get any hotter... boom."

"How can I not drink to a toast like that?" Buffy laughed. She kept her eyes on him as she licked all the way around the salt coated rim of the shot glass. Her eyes closed as she tossed back the shot then upended her shot glass over the neck of one of the beers. She grabbed a slice of lime and bit down into it, still watching Danny take his shot with an almost predatory, possessive look.

He shot the tequila back, never losing eye contact with Buffy even as he lifted a lime to bite into it. He traced his tongue over his lips to lick the salt off of them. He put the wedge back on the bowl and picked up his beer. After taking a swig, he leaned in to whisper in her ear. "Think I win the toasting war, yeah?"

Buffy laughed again and nodded. She leaned in to whisper back to him, one arm wrapping around his shoulders. "Yeah, I think you win the toasting war. But I'm going to make you defend your title next shot," she told him. She leaned back to take a sip of her beer.

"Think I'm going to let you maintain a title the easy way?" she teased him.

"Nothin's ever easy. I'd be disappointed if it was." Danny answered around a small grin. He rested his beer-less hand at her waist and after she had taken a drink, leaned in to lightly nip at her lower lip.

Buffy pulled him close, turning the playful nip into a full fledged kiss. He tasted like salt, lime and beer. She only let him pull away when she was breathless.

He had to love how the both of them could turn innocent to testing limits in the matter of 2.5 seconds. When the kiss broke, he drew a long sip of his beer. "You're gonna get us in trouble, Summers..."

"Mhmm well I'd suggest we get arrested for public lewdness but that could make life less than fun," Buffy purred. She took a drink of her beer then leaned in to kiss his neck, nipping lightly at his skin.

"Leave a mark to promise for later, yeah?" He answered, lips at her ear where he scraped his teeth over the lobe. "All for public whatever minus the arrested."

Buffy grinned against his neck and bit down a little harder, sucking enough to leave a mark on his neck. She slipped one hand under his teeshirt, her palm against his skin. "We keep this up and we may have to hit the women's bathroom later," she teased him.

"Don't tempt me, Summers." But he grinned a playful, boyish grin before he took another sip of his beer.

"Oh but that's what I'm all about," she teased him. "I wouldn't be me if I didn't tempt you," she whispered into his ear then licked a line down the column of his neck.

He groaned, eyes rolling up to the ceiling and back down. "So the women's bathroom, huh?"

"Is that where we're headed?" Buffy asked playfully. She nipped his ear lobe. She pulled back to look at him, a grin tugging at the corners of her lips before she leaned back in. "I think we should spend the rest of the night driving each other crazy then try having sex in the garage on the motorcycle. You'll have to keep my mind off the fact that the garage is a pretty little space."

Danny pulled back and just stared at her for a moment. Finally he shook his head. "Just when I think we've done it all." His hand at her side slinked back behind her hip where he landed a light swat to the curvy flesh. "Count me in."

"Boom," Buffy grinned, dropping her voice an octave and using a very poor imitation of Danny's accent.

He couldn't not laugh at that, so he did as he was completely amused by it. "Singin' my song now?"

"I'm trying but I'm not nearly as sexy doing it," she grinned at him. She took a sip of her beer and leaned in to kiss the corner of his mouth.

He dipped his head into the kiss and then turned into it. "Maybe I'm only sexy cause of the company I keep, yeah? Cause of you."

"Mmmm, I don't know. I'm pretty sure you were sexy that first night I saw you in the bar," Buffy told him with a smile. "Sexy enough that I came over to thank you for the drink."
