The song ended and Buffy reached back, gathering her hair up in one hand and pulling it away from her neck. She leaned forward on the balls of her feet, her other hand going to Danny's shoulder. "Let's go get a drink."

Danny had come home from work and suggested they go out dancing. She'd changed into a pair of black satin short shorts, to die for black heeled sandals and a silver gray sleeveless top. They'd had dinner and ended up here, had a few drinks and danced for several songs in a row. Now she was hot and wanted a beer.

Buffy wasn't sure what to do. She was usually the one involved in a fight. However, she had to admit she was impressed that Danny was fighting with Idiot Boy over her. In fact the whole fighting thing was kinda hot. Then they went to the ground and Buffy was more than a bit at a loss what to do. While physically she could have reached down and grabbed them by the collars, she wasn't supposed to be supergirl so separating them wasn't an option.

She took the next best thing. "KICK HIS ASS, DANNY!" she yelled at the top of her lungs. A crowd was sorta beginning to surround them anyway and they were all yelling, jeering and heckling. She was, she was proud to say, by far the loudest.

After another fist to the guy's jaw and receiving a boot to his side, Danny scooted backwards to get back onto his feet. And that was when he picked Buffy's voice out of the many and looked sideways to give her a small grin. The man took the opportunity to clack his jaw and Danny, unprepared for it, fell back to the ground, slightly disoriented.

But he pushed back up to his feet as a group of guys pulled him back from going back into the fight. "I'm okay. I'm okay. I'm okay."

Buffy returned the grin and then her brow furrowed and her back straightened with anger when the guy hit Danny while he was distracted. She stepped in front of the guy and balled up her fist, hitting him with a right cross. She was very, very careful to check her strength so that it popped the guy's head back but didn't hurt him anymore than necessary. The guy gave her a seriously confused look, rubbing his jaw. He raised one hand and Buffy wasn't sure whether he meant to hit her or not but she grabbed his wrist before he could do anything.

"Didn't anyone ever tell you. Go away actually means go away."

She couldn't help it, couldn't resist it. One flip of her wrist, a squeeze of her hand and she twisted the guy's arm up behind him, breaking his wrist. She let go and the guy was trying not to scream. She walked over to Danny and put a hand on each shoulder then kissed him.

"Come on, let's find some place else to go. This guy is lame."

"Lame?" Danny asked, glancing back to the guy who was now cringing in pain and then walking with Buffy. They walked towards his motorcycle. "Guy's an ass hole!"

But he kept going, more interested in getting Buffy out of there to a better place than anything else. "Hey, you okay?"

"I'm okay," Buffy assured him as she took his hand and let him lead her toward the motorcycle. She looked over at him with a grin. "That was kinda hot. The whole you punching him thing."

Danny arched a brow and looked sideways to her as he ran one hand over his jaw. "Yeah? That was hot?"

"That...was totally hot," Buffy grinned. She leaned over and placed a light kiss on his jaw. "Do we need to get you some ice for that? Are you okay?"

"Naw, I'm okay." Danny answered, handing her a helmet and putting on his own. "Takes a lot to knock me down, you know?"

"It's one of the things I like about you," Buffy told him as she got on the motorcycle behind him, arms wrapping around his waist. "You okay to drive?" she asked him.

"Yeah, yeah. I'm good. Just wanna get outta here before the cops get here." He slipped on his helmet, strapping it beneath his chin and then kick started the engine. He made sure that Buffy was holding on tight before he pulled out of the parking lot and onto the street.

Buffy was amused that Danny wanted to get out of there before the cops got there but she agreed it was probably for the best. "So where are you taking me now, Boyfriend? Fight club," Buffy teased, yelling loud enough that Danny could hear her over the sound of the engine.
