I think you'd do good in law enforcement though, but yeah you could attract a lot of unwanted attention with your capabilities.

I don't think I'm gonna finish it. I kind of majored in political science so if anything I might continue on that path but at the moment, school and stuff is not a priority.

I don't get paid a monthly salary or anything, but I get the usual cut from whatever we do. It's good money but obviously, it's black market stuff.

I'm screwed up in some ways but yeah, you get past all that, I guess. And CPS are assholes. I fucking hate them. Granted, they do some good, but for the most part, I think they make a fuckload of mistakes. Like trying to take Dawn away from you? It's not like she would have lived a better life under foster care.

Political science, like politics? I can actually see that. You know when you get a little older. Only because politicians are always old guys.

Right well at least it pays well. That's always a good thing.

I think we all have to have something we get over from our childhood. Childhood screws you up. Period. You spend the rest of your life getting over it. And yeah, so I wasn't being a stellar parent but I love her and that's more than she was going to get in foster care.

Yeah, right now I'm still too young for that shit. I was never into politics but Magneto sort of forced that into me when I was younger so I kind of just went with his interest.

I imagine you'd be a pretty cool parent though. I don't think it can ever be easy to care for teenagers. I was a fucking rebellious kid and I'm still rebellious.

So did it become your interest or is it something you're interested in now? Politics are completely off my radar.

I was an epic fail but I kept Dawn alive and that took some serious doing. I think if I hadn't had my own issues to deal with, I would have been alright. I don't know how single parents do it though. I had Spike, Willow, Xander and Tara all helping me with Dawn and I was still failing epically but in my defense, 90% of the time I was trying to be a parent to Dawn I was also trying to save the world.

I hated it at one point but now I kinda like it. But I don't focus too much on that whole Clinton Obama crap. Just mainly stuff to do with mutant right issues.

Yeah, you mentioned she was a key to some portal and you had to protect her while trying to save the world. That had to be a rough time for you. Is there a chance that she can turn back into into a key though or is her human form permanent now?

Re: [locked]

Right, that makes sense given your life.

Her human form is permanent now. Her blood will always be a key to a Hell dimension. Giles thinks she can actually open any dimension if you know where the portal opens up. The problem is the portals only close when the blood has run dry. So Dawn opens it and she dies. Or you know I jump through the portal and it kills me in her place. My blood, her blood...same blood. Or something like that.

So if she gets injured and she bleeds out, she'll risk opening up a Hell dimension? Or is there some kind of a ritual to the whole thing?

Oh no, there's a whole ritual. Like those doors that you have to wiggle the knob, push just right and then kind of finagle the key in. Dawn's just the key that blows the door wide open.

Of all things to have made the key into though, why turn it into a human being?

Because they needed me to protect the key with my life. An object is just an object. I wouldn't even die for my favorite pair of Marc Jacobs. A sister is an entirely different thing.

That makes a fuck load of sense. But it's real fucking cruel that they manipulated you in that manner though. I would've kicked their asses.

I think they're all dead? The hell goddess that tried to cut Dawn open killed them. And her ass I did kick.
