So the 14th was my little sister's birthday. We were kind of...zombified that day and then we were Depped and then...you get the point. So, I'm throwing her a birthday party today at my place. If you've talked to Dawn, met Dawn or even if you just want to come to a party, you're welcome.

Here's the deal, it's a funny hat party. So wear a funny hat and bring an ingredient to put in or on ice cream sundaes.

[Buffy's been busy while Dawn was at work. She hung streamers, banners and gathered balloons. There's glitter confetti scattered all over the floor that's going to take years to get up. Most of the training equipment has been shoved off in a corner to make room for a mini dance floor. The bar at the kitchen is covered in various components for ice cream sundaes. The music is up loud enough to be heard but not so loud it has to be screamed over. Buffy is running around in a sundress, wearing one of those cheesy gag, knife through the head hats.]

People in Sunnydale have to be deeply delusional to live there. I think it rubs off in their baby names. [and that's a big grin.] Willow's mom is very hippy-ish. Xander's name is actually Alexander and Spike was William before he started--a story that isn't appropriate company material. Anyway, he wasn't born Spike and Giles is British.

Oh, come on. What's the story with Spike? [ Ever curious and he's pretty sure it's a gory story which makes it appropriate Pyro material. ]

[She smirks and rolls her eyes.] He's going to kill me if he ever shows back up here and finds out I told you. [And then a sigh.] When he was human they called him William the Bloody because he wrote poetry and it was awful. They said they'd rather have a railroad spike through their head than listen to his poetry. So when he became a vampire...that's how he killed people, particularly the ones that didn't like his poetry. The name stuck and he has some idea that it's 'cooler' than William.
