Do I even have to say I ganked it from Baleigh?

You Are Low Maintenance

Otherwise known as "too good to be true"

You're one laid back chica - and men love that!

Just remember that no good guy likes a doormat.

So if you find your self going along to get along...

Stop yourself and put up a little bit of a fight.

Yeah this is so wrong. I'm really high maintenance just not...like that. They didn't ask the right questions.

I think they really meant 'high maintenance girlfriend' not high maintenance in any other sense of the phrase. Cause, yeah, have you seen my hair? Let's talk about high maintenance.

[identity profile] whattingawhat.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 05:10 pm (UTC)(link)
I think you're probably right but let's be honest, I'm high maintenance as a girlfriend too. I've got more issues than Playboy and they come up so incredibly randomly.

And your hair is gorgeous. I'm possibly green with envy. It's gotta be worth the high maintenance.

[identity profile] deep-red-bells.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 07:30 pm (UTC)(link)
More issues than Playboy. I have to remember that one. =D

Guys seem to like it, but it takes so much work to make it not frizzy. I've thought about cutting it so many times, but I just can't make myself.

[identity profile] whattingawhat.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 07:38 pm (UTC)(link)
:) It's appropriate

Ooooo no no no. I would have to come to Texas and smack you if you cut it.

[identity profile] deep-red-bells.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 07:43 pm (UTC)(link)
It is!

Not to mention that my grandmother would come back from the grave and strangle me.

[identity profile] whattingawhat.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 07:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah no grandmothers coming back from the grave or slayers coming to smack other slayers. You just have to keep the hair.

I have to admit I'm a little jealous.

[identity profile] whattingawhat.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 07:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Definitely of your hair. Before major battle-y things do you do it all curly and shiny and bouncy? I do. It makes me feel better going into war with pretty hair. Soooo stupid but still you know

[identity profile] deep-red-bells.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 08:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Actually I ponytail a lot. Horrible, isn't it? I'm told I need to take the opportunity to girl myself out more often. Actually went out slaying with a friend the other night who insisted I look hot. Didn't want to be seen with a frumpy slayer.

[identity profile] whattingawhat.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 08:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh for regular slaying, I ponytail a lot. Along with yoga pants and wife beaters. It's the major battles I get all pretty for. I'll either look great after the world is saved or you know...I'll look great when Willow decides to resurrect me again.

[identity profile] deep-red-bells.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 08:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh! Now see, I haven't done any major battley stuff yet! I'm kind of looking forward to it, actually.

[identity profile] whattingawhat.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 08:17 pm (UTC)(link)
They're...well...they're interesting. I mean...in a way except for the death, peril and pressure...they're fun. It's not the standard no fuss and dust. And at the end of the night, you've sorta saved the world but then you can't tell anyone and no one says thank you and you've likely ruined your outfit. I'm kinda glad they don't come along very often but at the same time when I'm slaying and thinking about my grocery list at the same time, I'm wishing for something less boring and more challenging.

[identity profile] deep-red-bells.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 08:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Exactly! I kind of like it when things get a little shook up. Vampire dusting is getting really mundane.

[identity profile] whattingawhat.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 08:34 pm (UTC)(link)
I know what you mean. But, to go all Mentor Buffy on you a second, be careful. Spike was the one that told me all it takes is for them to have a good day.

I actually got staked with my own stake once. By a mullet wearing stuck in the seventies/early eighties vamp none the less. He was apparently having a good day and I was having a sucktastic one.

[identity profile] deep-red-bells.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 08:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, I know, I've gotten a few bitch outs. I did get my ass kicked really good one day, so I've been a little more cautious since then.

(Staked with your own stake, really?)

[identity profile] whattingawhat.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 08:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Good to hear. Not the bitch outs, those are no fun even when you know you deserve them but still.

(God, yes. Embarrassing huh? And even worse, Riley is the one that staked mullet boy. I was sorta mortified. I wouldn't let him take him to the hospital mostly because then I'd have to tell someone about it.)

[identity profile] deep-red-bells.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 09:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, they were deserved. I was pissed at first but then I realized, he was just trying to take care of me in his own way. Spike, I mean.

(Oh, honey. That really is one of the most embarrassing things I've ever heard.)

[identity profile] whattingawhat.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 09:10 pm (UTC)(link)
He is.

(Oh I'm pretty sure I can come up with more embarrassing stories. I've been a slayer for over a decade.)

[identity profile] stillacrime.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 07:28 pm (UTC)(link)
You're high maintenance? I don't see it.

[identity profile] whattingawhat.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 07:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Maybe that'll be a trend? I think I'm high maintenance in any case.

[identity profile] stillacrime.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 07:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Alright, Summers. You can be high maintenance if you want.

[identity profile] whattingawhat.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 07:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Score!

However you do realize you have to put up with this high maintenance.

[identity profile] stillacrime.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 07:56 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't mind. Maybe high maintenance is my thing.

[identity profile] whattingawhat.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 08:01 pm (UTC)(link)
I like this about you. It's a good trait.

So are you a fix-it person? And if so how patient are you?

[identity profile] stillacrime.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 08:17 pm (UTC)(link)
What's a fix-it person?
Edited 2008-04-17 20:17 (UTC)

[identity profile] whattingawhat.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 08:22 pm (UTC)(link)
You know someone who wants to fix everything. It's not a bad thing, I'm just curious.

[identity profile] stillacrime.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 08:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Mmm nah, I wouldn't say I'm that. I mean I try hard enough keepin' me on the right track to worry about what everyone and everything else is doin'. Those close to me... I wanna take care of 'em. I got their backs but... I don't go around tryin' to fix 'em.

[identity profile] whattingawhat.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 08:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Hm, taking care of is good.

Knight in shining armor complex. Which is...nice. I can appreciate it.

[identity profile] stillacrime.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 08:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Except my armor is a tank and jeans...

[identity profile] whattingawhat.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 08:40 pm (UTC)(link)
And that's even better. Real armor is clanky and cold and hard and doesn't show off arms. You've got good arms. They should be shown off.

Pre warning (and see the high maintenance) I don't damsel very well. I don't mind you knighting it but...I sorta sometimes do the knighting thing too. Better than I do the damsel thing.

[identity profile] stillacrime.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 08:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Constant damseling gets old anyway.

And thanks. Glad you like my arms.

[identity profile] whattingawhat.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 09:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Are you trying to win my heart?

Just stating facts. I'm a fact girl. Sort of...no not really. It's just an excuse to ogle you.

[identity profile] stillacrime.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 09:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Winning your heart is a bonus.

[identity profile] whattingawhat.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 09:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Bonus huh? So what's the part that's not the bonus? What do you call that anyway? The main deal?

[identity profile] stillacrime.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 11:19 pm (UTC)(link)
The main deal is just knowin' you.

[identity profile] whattingawhat.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 11:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Lucky me.
