Oh, I get it. It's something I've been stressing to one of the girls here. She thinks she doesn't have to listen to anyone and that she can go off and do whatever she wants, damn the consequences it may have on everyone else. It's going to get one of us killed one of these nights.

(I'm trying, very hard, not to let things get to me. Some nights it's hard, but...that's why you have people in your life. :)

Ooooh that's irritating. The girls, ok Kennedy mostly, do that to me and then she'll challenge me when I try to talk to her about it. Yes I've gotten people killed and yes I've made mistakes but they're calculated risks. It's not just me running off and doing whatever I damn well please. I don't know what to tell you except keep working with her and try to be aware when you're patrolling with her that you're probably going to be running interference.

(Yes! I tried to tell the Watcher's Council that once. They expect us to save the world but they want us to sever all the things that make the world worth saving. It's wrong. You have to remember why you're saving the world)

I have this very, very bad feeling that it's going to TAKE someone getting hurt or dying to wake her ass up. And even then...I don't know. She's something else, let me tell you. Did I mention she used to work for Wolfram and Hart?

(...God, my opinion of the Watcher's Council just keeps dipping lower and lower. They seriously don't get that the only thing that makes this worthwhile is having people to come home to at the end of the night?)

Oh well so her moral compass is kind of lacking as it is. Just be careful when you have to work with her.

(It's better now because mostly there's Giles and me...and people he's sort of put together but before it was really bad. They had a fit because I wanted to go to highschool and do things. I tried to get them to help save Angel when he was poisoned and they told me that they didn't do that. Do you know how many times over I'm alive because Angel was there to save my ass? Yeah that was when I quit. Told them they could watch BBC until the next slayer came along.)

Well, according to local Head Watcher Lady Terry, they kind of were taking advantage of her/had her brainwashed. That's the story. She's not a BAD person, she's just...painfully screwed up. Still, that's not an excuse. We all got issues.

(...How horrible is it of me that sometimes I think, 'Thank God they all died except Giles?' The more I hear about them, the more I think it.)
