Yeah, I get that. Guess some people just don't understand. I know members of the X-Men tend to piss me off with their righteous bullshit crap. Like what anyone else is trying to do for mutantkind is just all sorts of wrong. Like they're the only ones making the right decisions and that pisses me off.

But seriously. Coffee table as a weapons chest? Guess if Danny ever finds it, you can admit to having a thing for collecting weapons, like Angelina Jolie has a thing for collecting knives. But yeah okay, not talking about it.

Yeah they look at you like you're from another world or like you're a thing instead of a person or that you're just evil or something. Narrow mindedness is always irritating.

We broke the real coffee table and we eat there all the time so...the logical choice was weapons chest as a coffee table. he'd probably believe it with the whole martial arts thing and love for violence I have.

Oh you know...girls who go into alleys at night with men with bad fashion sense, a dental hygiene issue and that they've just met, Lindsay (Danny's ex sorta in the I don't they were dating so much as sleeping together and she was MEAN to him), Osama Bin Laden, people who murder people while I'm trying to be out on a date ~~or have sex~~ (please have the decency to murder someone during normal business hours, thanx), the grabby man on the subway the other day (broken fingers FTW)

You know...stupid people.

Danny's never had a case where the victim was killed by a vampire? Bet they'd explain it by saying that the killer used a sort of tool (nicely shaped like teeth) to suck the blood out of his victims, huh?

Oh I'm sure he has and I'm pretty sure that's exactly how they explained it. Only there's probably not a tool that can siphon off blood as fast as a vamp or as throughly. It's probably a cold case and one of those 'weird' ones. I'm hoping once I tell him, he'll remember some of those cases and realize hey, my world explains them.

Out of curiosity, what's stopping you from telling him you're a slayer?

Mostly Danny lives in the real world where science and physics and normal applies. He can explain 99% of the things in his world.

More personally...there was this guy...and he actually was a demon hunter but he was...normal compared to the guys I'd dated before. He left because he couldn't handle...a lot of things. He couldn't handle that I could take down a demon in the time it took him to put together a team to do the same thing. He didn't like that I was stronger and faster than he'd ever be. He was on experimental government drugs to make him faster and stronger and he couldn't touch me. He couldn't stand that Angel bit me and left a scar and I got off on it. He couldn't stand that Angel was and is a part of my life and really, he just couldn't handle Angel. Then Dracula (yes that one) showed up in Sunnydale to meet me. There was a lot of thrall and biting and grossness that was nothing like Angel but it freaked Riley out.

Basically, Riley couldn't handle my life and he was already half in it. Why in the HELL would Danny be able to handle it.

Danny's not Riley? But yeah, I understand. It's a 50/50 thing. He might freak out or he might not and he might not at first but he could. Too bad we can't hit the undo button for shit like that. Like I've made some pretty bad decisions in the past but I figure what's done is done. When you've got something to lose, I guess it makes it that much harder to decide. Still, I hope you're not spending your days worrying about whether or not you should tell him. I mean, you'll just do it when you're ready, right? Best way is to never plan these sort of stuff.

Yeah I don't have a plan or a time frame. I just figure eventually the situation will be right and I'll spill. I know there's going to be an eventually. I guess I just want to make it harder for him to leave me? That sounds really bad and manipulative.

That sounds like you're planning on getting yourself pregnant with his baby, but yeah I know what you mean. Give it time, I guess. I'm sure it'll work out. Danny sounds like a real nice guy.

Oh! God no! Not that. I just want to give him as many reasons to stay and deal as I am giving him reasons to leave. You know? Hes' a great guy and slowly I'm leaning toward the whole 'there's a chance he might stay' concept.

Divorce is a bitch to deal with. Why don't you just marry the guy?

*laugh* I don't know. Because that seems underhanded? Besides I'm not sure we've known each other long enough for the whole getting married thing and I might be all rawr girl power but the boy still has to propose. One knee please.

Such a friggin' romantic but if he's gonna do it, guess he'd better do it the right, traditional way.

I know! *gasp* *shock* I'm such a girl. Honestly as much as he loves the Yankees, I'm more betting for it being splashed across the jumbo tron at a game than anything.

Really though, I'm not sure he's a marrying kind of guy. He did mention in a meme something about Las Vegas once but that was the actual wedding, not the proposal.

So long as it's not going to be in a chapel with "Elvis Presley". Vegas weddings are pretty much jinxed.

I know the day I ever propose to someone will be the day... you'd have to talk me out of it. Promise?

Since I don't plan on doing a wedding or the Vegas thing, I'm not worried.

*grin* Alright. I'll talk you out of it. Unless I've met the girl, I like her and I approve whole heartedly. Then there might be more making certain you know what you're doing and less actual talking you out of it. and if I ever get married, do the best friend thing and threaten to burn someone alive if they hurt me. Just because I think it'd be awesome.
