11th Slayer [Video] but I'm a supergirl, and supergirls just fly.

[Buffy turns the video on her face and she looks pissed. She's got a gash on her head that's dribbling blood, a bruise on her cheek, a black eye, her lip is split and oh there's a nasty bite on her neck that's seeping blood.]

Really not funny to let the girl who gets beat up like it's her...oh her job revisit all her old wounds.

[The view drops rapidly like she's losing grip on it to show a weeping gut wound. She presses her free hand to it and rights the camera, looking into it]

At least none of it actually hurts?

This time.

[She sounds less pissed off now but then that could be blood loss. Oh well. What doesn't kill her makes her stronger. Literally in most cases]

And shouldn't healing on crack kick in right about...oh at least a year ago. Five in some cases.

I'm going to get more gauze. [And the video flicks off]

This happened over a year ago, Sam. I just have to keep from bleeding out today. At midnight I'll be fine.

Who doesn't want to reopen all their old wounds? I'm lucky they picked highlights and stayed away from my weekly hit list.

[She's a decent enough patient for this part of things. Getting patched up is a part of a slayer's life. She's lucky she's a little more durable than the average human]

I'm magic. Not like Glinda but...a long time ago some mygonistic old guys had a vampire problem that none of them wanted to fight so they hit a girl with some whammy that made her stringer, faster, more durable with an extra dose of super healing. She was the slayer. That gets passed down from generation to generation. I'm the slayer now; harder to kill than your average cockroach.

[She can get into the other slayers later] And ewww I just referred to myself as a cockroach. I might be dying.

Well, slayer or not, you should probably lay down after we're done here. You might not die from blood loss but we should try to be careful.

Lying down is good.

[She doesn't tell Sam that she nearly did die of blood loss once; that it is possible. There's no need to worry him needlessly. He's done all he can so they have to wait until midnight and hope she manages until then.]
