Oy, sudden bad memories of my first Halloween as a Slayer. Never again with a dress. Ever. I was thinking this year I'd dress up as something already badass. Like...Trinity, from the Matrix.

Oh nothing big, I just didn't listen to Spike when he told me the lame-ass vampires would be out in full force on Halloween and went to a party some friends threw? I dressed up as Arwen. Needless to say by the end of the night the dress was in shreds. I was like 'Fuck this, next year I dress up as Selene from Underworld or something.'

ewww and it was probably a pretty dress too. Yeah Giles tried to tell me that Halloween was like snooze fest for the monsters. Only it wasn't. After that I went as someone who could kick ass. Little Red Riding hood with a crossbow in her basket was sort of an exception but if all else failed, I was little Red Riding Hood with a crossbow.

It IS sad. But the whole incident just reinforced my belief that I never need to wear white. Seriously. If I ever get married I'll end up wearing red.

Me either. I think, even if things get more serious, they wouldn't change all that much. I don't even think moving in together would be an option. He travels a lot? Someday I might decide to go with him, but, I don't know.

Marriage just brings all these other things like the idea of kids and...not to be all downer donna but...growing old probably isn't in the cards so I feels like selling the commitment short. Travelling would be cool and you could still slay. You'd just be international.

I've told him that...you know, that my odds of living a nice long healthy life are kind of not good. So we're taking what we can get, and neither of us wants kids, ever, and, I don't know. My mom gave me very cynical views of marriage and Julian doesn't seem the type at all, which is so very fine with me. I don't need a piece of paper to know I'm committed, I guess?

We've actually been talking about that...the traveling. He was all "whenever you're ready" which seriously melted me more than a little.

It would look badass! No one would fuck with you in that costume.

That's really good that you guys are on the same page. I'm not really...cynical of marriage I don't think. I mean...I think it's great when it works out. I think some girly part of me would really like that. It's just not practical for my life.

I think it'd be kind of awesome. You deserve it and there's no reason why you can't.

Aw, I don't mean for it to sound like all marriages fail, I mean, my grandmother loved my grandad like whoa, she missed him SO BAD after he died. They totally would've had the whole lifelong marriage if he hadn't gotten killed. So it does happen, I just think it's kinda rare.

I think so too, and Boy is major with the understanding of that.

Oh I know. I'm sure some of them work out. Despite everything Danny's parents seem to be totally in love and they've been married for ages. I think it's pretty rare too and I know what my success rate for relationships period is, I'm not going to push it by shoving a marriage into the whole deal. Besides, Danny's a bad Catholic, thank PB&J, we're both pretty happy just the way things are and his parents don't seem to care that his a bad Catholic.
