47th Slay [Accidental Video]

[The device is sitting on a table behind Buffy. When it comes on, it shows Buffy standing in front of a mirror. She runs a brush through her hair then her fingers before she looks up into the mirror. She startles at seeing her reflection, but doesn't scream then takes a step back. Hovering there above (or perhaps beneath) her reflection is a ghost of how she looked before Willow pulled her out of the grave, half decomposed. She turns to see the device on, still looking shaken and pale.]

So...curse day, right? Otherwise there's going to be some mirror breaking in my house and I seriously don't need any more years of bad luck. Or maybe if you break a creepy mirror it goes the other way. Seven years of good luck.

Not so much. I'm not usually a stare in the mirror kind of girl but avoiding them is the theme for today.

Nope. I'm very decomposed in the mirror. Attractive really. I think date cancelling is probably in order. If I had a date. Not that I do but if I did, I'd cancel.

There are just no outfits that go with the decomposed look. None conducive to dating, anyway.

I'm calling out of work. This is nuts.

Exactly. In fact decomposed kind of makes even the cutest outfit a null void thing.

Are you actually...scar-y girl today? Or is it just a reflection thing?

I think it's just a reflection but I can't really tell. It's freaking me out and if I did suddenly wake up like this, I don't want to scare anyone else until it goes away.

No...it's more of a City thing? And I don't think everyone is cursed when they look in the mirror. Uhm...I think there's a full length mirror on the closet door in the basement. Have a look and see what you see.

Like -- break all by itself without your smashing it? That's creepy -- and probably triple or quadruple the bad luck -- which is bad. Breaking mirrors is bad, like walking under a ladder bad.

Point. also...not sure if I believe in the walking under the ladder stuff. Our lives are sorta bad luck-ing even without it. What if it's karma and the Karma God is a vampire. We're sorta screwed.

Okay but this is the thing. We know how bad luck-ing our lives are normally. The whole mirror or ladder thing or opening the umbrella indoors thing or all those bad luck things, if we do them, imagine how bad they would be then. So you would take our normal crappy luck only multiply it by a gazillion which -- please no. Do everything you can not to break the mirror Buffy. Between all of Aya's sickness and injuries and all the badness lately we need no more bad luck. Just say no -- only not to drugs but to breaking mirrors, Buffy. Just say no!
